Visual feedback system for the industrial robot arm

Smart Robot Gripper (Universal Robot Gripper) dramatically saves the time and effort in changing the end effector of the robot arm. It can be an innovative approach for introducing the industrial robot to the small scale factory.
However, this robot gripper has a weakpoint in the measurement of the state while grasping an object because of the simple mechanical structure.
We are working on both project for developing the new mechanical type gripper and the measurement system to detect the grasping state by 3D sensors.
